I started stamping at the end of 2006 after meeting a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator at a scrapbook workshop. She introduced me to an alphabet set and that’s when I realized how easy and simple it was to add titles to my pages. Using coordinating colors and stamp sets I was able to make my scrapbook polished and professional looking.

I didn’t stop there. I ended up going to every stamp camp to learn more about stamping and how the products and techniques worked. I was able to make a beautiful birthday card for my sister. She loves the colors in it and wants to paint her bedroom in the matching colors. Without Stampin’ Up! I would have been guessing at how to bring the colors together.

I decided to become a Demonstrator when my friend and upline had to move out of state. I was worried that the stamp camps would end and that I wouldn’t have a great group of ladies to stamp with. I realized that I needed to be the one to continue the camps and to hold my own workshops.

At first I was thinking it would be a great way to get a discount on all the stamp sets that I wanted. Now I realize that this isn’t just a hobby for me anymore. I’m enjoying stamping and creating cards but I’m really enjoying teaching techniques and how to make these beautiful cards. I love how I can connect with friends in a whole new way. This truly has become my passion.
